A question came in from Jim asking how to create an online presence. How do you market online, especially if you’re really tight on cash.

I know that a lot of people struggle with this concept. But they really don’t have to. The most interesting thing about the time we live in is that we can create advertisements online everywhere. If done correctly you can do this for free without creating spam.

The most powerful tips to embark on a do it yourself marketing campaign are remarkably the simplest ones.

Here is an overview of a powerful DIY marketing strategy to implement in classic do it yourself fashion.

Here are your basic steps.

  1. Find keyword phrases that your audience is interested in.
  2. Create content that is educational and helpful associated with the content. Taking care to be sure you have a call to action at the bottom of the content that takes the reader to your offer.
  3. Have an offer that is relevant to the keywords, and the content you created. Again be sure to have a call to action that points the prospect to your sales funnel.
  4. At this point your sales funnel should take over.

In the end the do it yourself approach to online marketing is a very in expensive way to get your name out into the public, create an online  presence, build page rank for your website, and create lasting content that will attract others to you.

For most this is really hard to believe. I think it is because we are conditioned to believe everything “doesn’t work” if it doesn’t yield results overnight.

But the history of direct marketing has proven time and time again that getting your offer in front of the right people is the only real key to success.

Following these simple do it yourself online marketing steps. Will take you where you want to be.

Finding keyword phrases are pretty simple. Using the free adwords keyword research tool or any other keyword tool can really help you find lots of information related to keywords that you would want to use.

Additionally you can use the results of adwords campaigns to validate they types of information you want to create content for.

There are plenty of ways to research and find valuable keywords to write content based on.

Why research the keywords first? Well that is pretty simple really. You want to write what the audience is looking for. Never write content without first being sure people want to read about it.

Another way to find the target keywords is to take information from questions you get and think about what words people would use to find the answer to the questions being asked.

Regarding Question 2:

Creating content that leads back to your offer is really all that matters. Here are some examples of two pieces of content I created related to MLM Systems.
